Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band

Willy is featured on the new collage celebrating the City of Liverpool's cultural icons.

The new work is by Peter Blake and based on his cover for the Beatles 'Sgt Pepper' album, from 1967.

Willy appears together with other cultural figures from this famous city, including some collaborators and friends.

Brian Patten, Roger McGough and the late Adrian Henri feature as do Alan Bleasdale, John Peel, George Melly, John Conteh and Red Rum!
